Please ensure you read and fully understand these booking terms and conditions. If anything is unclear, please contact us so we can explain in further detail to avoid any misunderstandings.
Bookings are subject to the following terms and conditions.
House rules
✓ No under 21 group bookings
✓ No male only group bookings
✓ Pets are not permitted
✓ Check in from 3pm, Check out before 10am. Early check-in and a late check -out can be accommodated at an additional charge (if available).
✓ Minimum of 2-night bookings at the weekend and 3-night bookings during bank holidays. 1 night bookings may be considered.
✓ This is a quiet, rural setting and not suitable for loud groups/parties. Please be aware of this when making your booking
✓ Strictly no smoking inside the lodge
✓ We advise that any guests with limited mobility contact us prior to booking.
Bookings
To secure your booking a non-refundable deposit of £100 is required with the balance to paid in full 4 weeks before arrival.
For bookings made less than 4 weeks in advance, the total amount is payable on booking.
A £100 refundable damage deposit will be applied at the time of booking.
In making a booking you accept responsibility for any theft, breakage or damage caused by you or any member of your party and agree to indemnify us in full for any loss that we may incur as a result.
We reserve the right to terminate a stay without compensation where the unreasonable behaviour of the persons named on the booking (or their guests) may impair the enjoyment, comfort or health of others.
Cancellation
Cancellations will be refunded if we are notified at least 4 weeks before arrival. Deposits will not be refunded.
If you cancel less than 4 weeks before arrival, then the full balance remains due and is not refundable.
All bookings must be paid in full no later than 4 weeks before arrival. If the balance is not received by the due date, then your holiday will be treated as a cancellation and the client will remain liable to pay the balance of the rent.
We strongly advise that you take out comprehensive travel insurance to cover cancellations. If you choose not to, then you accept responsibility for any loss that you may incur due to your cancellation.
Your booking will not be cancelled by the owner except in exceptional circumstances beyond our control. Notification will be given of the cancellation as soon as possible and we will promptly refund all payments made for your holiday. Our liability for cancellation will be limited to payments made to us.
Occupancy
Under no circumstances can the maximum occupancy of the accommodation be exceeded. Please obtain permission in advance if additional guests are planning to visit. Visitors of guests are NOT permitted to sleep over or use the hot tub.
Departure
Please ensure the property is left CLEAN and TIDY on departure. This must include the barbeque.
On day of departure the cabin must be vacated by 10am unless an extension has been previously agreed.
Complaints
Should you be unhappy with any aspect of your stay, please notify us before you leave.
Damage
We accept minor damages and breakages do occur, but please notify us immediately of any incidents before you depart so we can resolve problems quickly.
The owner reserves the right to make a charge to cover additional cleaning costs if the client leaves the property in an unacceptable condition.
Hot tub
Please ensure the hot tub leaflet is read and instructions are fully adhered to. Charges incurred for misuse or damage to the hot tub will be passed onto the guest.
We endeavour to make the hot tub available to all guests staying but there may be essential maintenance or health and safety reasons that mean they may not be available during your stay.
Wifi
We are not able to guarantee the wifi will be working, although it is rare that it does not work.
Liabilities
Canterbury lodges and glamping are not responsible for the loss of any personal belongings or valuables of the guest.
Canterbury lodges and glamping will not be liable for any temporary defect or malfunction of any equipment, machinery or appliance in the building, grounds or hot tub.
No compensation will be given for any temporary outage of electricity, gas, water, internet connection or television service.
This property is privately owned and is our home. We expect all guests to enjoy the facilities and treat the property with the same respect that they would with their own house.
